Bienvenue sur STLabs
STLabs, an ATARI 16/32 computers hardware lab!

This page concerns STDMAPLUS, a hardware upgrade designed for the ATARI ST
adding IDE and ETHERNET interfaces on the DMA port.

Authors: Frédéric Pécourt and Christian Zotier

STDMAPLUS CARD FEATURES

  • Xilinx SPARTAN 3 FPGA  bridging the ST DMA port to two IDE buses and an ETHERNET controller (DAVICOM 9000E)
  • ATA-IDE interface with two IDE buses in DMA mode allowing up to three devices.
  1.      IDE0 features a compact flash adapter
  2.      IDE1 features a conventionnal 40-pins IDE header with up to two devices
  • DAVICOM 9000E ETHERNET adapter for a 10Mbits/s TCP/IP link in DMA mode
  • the card form factor makes it on a suitable for the MEGA STE as it is directly compatible to the DMA internal connector. It can also be externally connected to a normal ST/STF.

TODO LIST

- IDE Boot Sector
- IDE block device driver similar to Atari AHDI or HDDRIVER
